Alert! The Internet is Down: Reddit, Amazon, UK Government Websites Crash

A number of the world's most used and most famous websites have crashed, including Amazon, Reddit, and the U.K. Government's sites, as was first reported by the Independent. No information has yet been disclosed as to why these sites have broken down, since when, and for how long they'll be down. On the U.K. Government's website, a "connection failure" message pops up, and Reddit's page appears with empty squares.
